Description
What was done so far?
Resources, Risks, Reports.
Still missing: Gantt, Scope, Board backlog, Calendar
Before change:
Data (tasks, resources, risks, objectives) displayed in the respective Box module (Gantt, Scope, Resources, Calendar, Risks, Reports) result from the scope definition, allocated resources, etc. of the context Box or upper-level Box.
Only in two modules: Overview and Board module the scope/ scope based aggregates can be calculated bottom-up.
After change:
Data (tasks, resources, risks, objectives) displayed in the respective Box module (Gantt, Scope, Resources, Calendar, Risks, Reports) are rolled up based on the scope definition, allocated resources, etc. of the sub-Boxes.
Detailed specification will be delivered at the later stage.
Customer inputs:
For portfolios, my intention is to have the programs and projects hierarchically under the portfolio. I’ve tried this and what I’m chasing is to have the gants rolled up, along with resourcing, reporting and calendars of the program/projects in the portfolio, viewable from the portfolio level.
I am creating individual schedules on the Gantt. I want to see Gantt chart that is a "roll-up" of these individual schedules.
I'd like to be able to see Workload and Report views that rollup at a parent level that allows me to see the overall resource utilization across all my projects without having to create a separate Big Picture project that includes all projects in the Scope.
Currently, the scope of the boxes works in a top-down mode, however, in many times, it would be interesting to work in bottom up mode, so that the scope of the father would be the sum of its children.
